Let's start Gimping

As of today this (2.6) is the latest version of GIMP

Now where do we start..? Huh?

Here we go.. at any point any doubts, post a comment or just send me a message on twitter or facebook

First u open GIMP, (....like this, i'll try to be 'funny' throughout just.. never mind)

1. click on 'file' and then 'new'

2. select any resolution(width*pixel), in the fb photos, the max resolution is smthin lyk 720*576. so type it in.

3. then a white paper comes.. after that its pretty much like MSpaint..

4. The 'bars' on either side are annoying, but befriend them..

5. Now, u'll be able to chose the colors with the two rectangles on the left bar (by default, of black n white)

6. chose the paintbrush.
now you'll see the menu below the 'toolbox' change..
right next to the 'brush' option, u cn see a square with a black circle in it... wit that, u cn change the brush type..
with the 'scale' option, u cn do the obvious.. (scale the brush large or scale it down)

7. Try a stick man on the white paper.
